A Personal Fitness POD System is a personalized POD with healthy wellness exercise features. These include a built-in active-exercise system and a dual radiant heat and dry heat sauna/vibration massage system designed for full body comfort and active-exercise, weight management, and relaxation. The POD includes a variety of adjustable features, including dual heat, radiant heat and traditional dry (sauna) heat features. While your body lies comfortably inside the chamber, your head remains outside for your comfort and enjoyment of the session. In addition, an adjustable stream of cool air is at your fingertips for keeping your face and neck comfortable.

POD sessions provide you with a private sanctuary to maintain or achieve weight management and enjoy a relaxing, full body massage in a warm, soothing environment. Or, enjoy an active-exercise workout with the adjustable exercise bands and guided fitness programs for different fitness levels. The PODS are “The Ultimate Weight Management, Wellness Exercise, Fitness and Relaxation Machine” and instantly makes available to you a multitude of healthy lifestyle and wellness benefits.

There are no replacement parts required for the ongoing use of ours PODS. Unlike tanning beds (where you have to replace bulbs) or water massage beds (where you have to constantly change the water), the Fitness PODS requires no routine maintenance except for daily and weekly cleaning.

Many of the businesses which are using PODS do not offer showers on site. Many clients choose to use the PODS after a workout, weight management, or a wellness exercise session and prefer to simply towel dry and wear sweat clothes after their sessions before returning home to shower. Many businesses also offer clean towels for clients to wipe down, and some even offer a spray bottle with citrus scent or tea tree oil to enhance their wipe downs.

A room (“cabin”) as small as 6 feet wide and 9 feet long is adequate for the use of the POD.

The PODS can be used for weight management, a personal relaxation system or as a heated sauna wellness exercise fitness POD. If a user has any contraindications or is in poor heath, they should speak with their doctors before using the Pods and any questions should be directed to a medical professional. Ours PODS are not a medical system, it makes no medical claims and does not treat any medical conditions. Our PODS are a general wellness, fitness and relaxation system. The Cocoon Fitness POD System has a weight limit of 350 lbs. Women who are pregnant and persons who are in poor health or have cardio health or other problems or are sensitive to heat (i.e., conditions such as erythema ab igne, etc.) or are dehydrated should not use the Cocoon Fitness POD System until they consult with their medical doctor.

A POD session generally ranges from 15 to 30 minutes (and up to 45 & 60 minutes) depending on the business model and weight management or fitness & wellness goals of the user. Users may exit the POD at any time prior to the expiration of their session. At many locations, POD sessions are activated from the front desk. The POD System will automatically shut off at the conclusion of each session. We recommend beginning with lowest active-exercise programs and lower temperatures and shorter sessions.

It is recommended that a clean towel (bath or beach-towel size) or disposable towel be used and laid on and a 2nd towel over the body when using the Fitness POD System. This helps maintain a more hygienic environment users can use and wear typical comfortable work-out exercise clothes. Users should be instructed to self-clean and wipe down the Fitness POD at the end of each session (i. e., appropriate cleaner and paper towels should be provided to users, who should be cautioned to refrain from spraying the cleaner directly on the unit heaters near the foot area).

All PODS almost all features can be turned on-off and used separately or in personal, customized combinations together. By example, you can use the active-exercise system with or without the heat sources.
